WORSHIP
Sunday Service @ 9 AM
Sunday School @ 10 AM
Join Us This Sunday!
Come find a warm welcome in our historic sanctuary. You will find a friendly place where you can dress up or dress casually, hear a Bible-based message, and sing classic hymns. Children are invited up for a special message just for them every week, and Holy Communion is offered on the first Sunday of every month.
During the 40 days of Lent, we will consider the ways we use our words. We are considering what it means to be in a season of spiritual preparation for Easter with a sermon series called Words for Lent. Words like forgiveness, prayer, and fasting mark this season, a time when we walk the wilderness path of Jesus. This season is traditionally a meaningful time of going deeper in faith. We hope you will take part.
Holy Week begins on March 29 with the observance of Palm Sunday. Join us for worship where we will open with a children’s palm procession.
On Maundy Thursday, April 2, we will present the Passover in art and story. Visit our come-and-go art exhibit from 6-8 pm in the Saba Winery building (next to Willow Creek) on the Square. There will be a second opportunity to see the exhibit during the Mason Art and Wine Festival, which will be held on Easter Saturday from 11am-4pm.
On Good Friday, April 3, we invite you to a special service at 6pm to remember the passion of Jesus with Scripture reading, music, and candlelight.
On Easter Sunday, we will celebrate at sunrise with a 6:45 sunrise service at in the pavilion in City Park. Bring your own folding chair.
At 9am, we will have an Easter service in the sanctuary. An egg hunt for the children will take place after the service.
We invite you to join us!
This Wednesday, March 18, we will have an Art Night from 6-8pm in the Social Hall to paint art for the event. All skill levels welcome. Supplies and snacks will be provided.
On Good Friday, April 3, we will read the story of Jesus’ final hours. This service, called a Tenebrae service, includes special music and a slow darkening of the sanctuary. It will be held at 6pm.
Look for us on the Square on Easter Saturday from 11-4 during the Art & Wine Fest, where we will open the Maundy Thursday Passover Display to the public and invite everyone to our Easter services.
On Easter morning, there will be a Sunrise Service at 6:45am in the Pavillion at City Park. Bring your own folding chair. Our Sanctuary service will be at 9 am followed by a children’s egg hunt.
